STRUCTURE AND OPERATION PROCESS
QF combination flotation system contains flotation main pool,
dissolved air unit, dissolved air backflow unit, dissolved air
releasing unit, Scraper (can be equipped with chain style or
movable style), and electric control system.
The floatation separation technology explanation: The air and water
in a certain working pressure, the air dissolved in water, and
strive to become saturated, and then release/decrease the pressure
of the air dissolved water, it produce a large number of micro air
bubbles. The micro air bubbles fully contact the suspended
particles in the water, the suspended particles adhere to the
bubbles, float up to the surface, and then become scum. The scraper
removes the scum. In this way, the water is purified.
The main purpose of flotation is solid-liquid separation. Besides
that, the flotation also decrease to some extent the COD,BOD and
chroma. Add flocculant (PAC) or coagulant (PAM) into the raw water,
after the effective flocculation reaction (time, dosage and effect
shall be determined experimentally), the raw water goes into
combination flotation contact area. In the contact zone, the floc
from raw water marry to the micro-bubbles from dissolved air water,
and then went into the separation zone. Under the buoyancy of the
bubbles, the floc together with air bubbles float up to the
surface, become the dross, be moved to the sludge zone by the
scraper. The underneath clean water flow to the clean water tank
through water collect pipe. Part of the clean water return to be
used in dissolved air system, others will be discharged.
